For a special project, we went to extreme heights to makeover the lobby of a residential building in our very own city of Brooklyn.
At 1209 Dekalb Ave. in the neighborhood of Bushwick Brooklyn, NY you will find an apartment building under the name of Colony 1209. This is a no fee rental building allowing residents to rent studios, 1 bedroom, 1.5 bedroom, or 2 bedroom apartments. All units are custom renovated and designed with a modern, contemporary feel and include stainless steel kitchen amenities and rain shower heads to start. The buildings focal point is definitely it’s one of a kind renovated lobby.
Bravura Glass & Mirror Corp. was commissioned for this project to create custom mirrors and installations that would brighten, expand, and give life to the lobby of this building. The lobby includes circular mirrored panels on the ceiling along with frosted glass pieces that cover and compliment the staircase. Mirrored ceiling panels take over the entire lobby space allowing light to reflect and give the space a very wide, open feel. Below is the aftermath of this renovation and a completed lobby space.
